    Banshee Raw finish durability

To those that opted for a Raw finish on their Banshee frame, how is it holding up over time? Does the clearcoat chip or scratch easily?

I'm asking because I'm stuck between a Raw Paradox frame or black anodized for my next bike build over winter. I think Raw will be better to get a sick color scheme going as well. Black for a more stealth look.

    Thanks!

I have mine for about 6 months. The clear coat is about as durable as any normal painted frames.
Good thing is it's hard to spot the scratches/chips unless you look closely..

^ Thanks, but I think I'm heading more for the ano black finish. Match it with red ano bits as well.

Depends allot on riding conditions and how you clean your bike afterwards. My Scythe has seen plenty of mud and to say the least i'm a bit angry for not covering the top tube in frame protection, it's gotten very very ugly with the combination of mud, shin pads rubbing the tt and cleaning the dried mud after. It's coverd in millions of tiny scratches so you don't see the polished shinyness anymore. Best thing is make it soaking wet again then gently with a soft brush/ sponge whipe it off, do not whipe it off dry as it acts like sand paper.

All in all i'd say pretty darn durable though.

I think the raw is the best in terms of durability as there is nothing to hurt! No really, it's awesome, doesn't show nicks, scratches or rubs. Plus, i think it looks the best... But that, of course, is a matter of opinion.
