My XT built XL Paradox weighs about 27lbs, so going by the part spec and that fact, I'd have to guess somewhere around 30-31lbs. Not sure of too many who have purchased the stock build kit and kept it totally stock, but maybe you'll get lucky and someone did and weighed it before changes.
One day your life will flash before your eyes, will it be worth watching??

i bought that exact bike, paradox comp large. check out my original posts and pics as well as the upgrades i made.

the short answer is it weighed 30lbs with no pedals out of the box.

the tires are seriously heavy with cable beads, i dropped over a pound in tires and tubes. saying that it didn't ride heavy and i was able to keep up in xc races with others on carbon lightweights.

Thanks Steineken. I like your red accents. Thinking something similar with a red water bottle cage. I converted to tubeless the other day, but without changing the tires, I fear I haven't dropped more than a meaningless few ounces.

Next mod for me is conversion to 1x10.

thanks gasx. i cant remember the weight on those tires but with the wire bead they are heavy, they come in lighter versions as well but i really like the ikon's.

1x would be sweet if you don't need the gear range. i'm running 'ghetto' 2x10 at the moment. 3 gear fd but i put a larger middle ring on and replaced the large ring with the bash guard. looking to upgrad to sram xx 1x system when it trickles down to the xo or x9 level. if it doesn't happen for 2014 i will probably upgrad to a 2x front derailuer and crank.

have fun on it and post some pics!

Changes have begun... Converted to tubeless and 1x10 with an MRP chain guide.
