2014 Banshee Prime 29er - Rear axle alternatives.

    Hi,

I've just built a new to me Banshee Prime but I've been looking for an alternative rear axle as one of the ends is a little chewed up. It's not rounded yet but I'm scared/worried it'll break at the wrong time.

I've been doing some research and it seems that the alternative is a rear maxle.

Is this correct? Is the thread pitch on the 2014 axle 1.75 as I'm led to believe?

Any help is much appreciated as I'm loving the bike so far!

    Cheers

    Nick

Anyone know the answer? I just snapped the axle on my 2013 Prime & need a quick replacement. My dropouts are the 150x12 mm.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

I went for a rock shox maxle but I've got 142mm x 12mm dropouts fitted.

So I'm no help at all - unless you can get a 150mm maxle?
