    2013 Spitfire and Reverb stealth

Is it possible to route the cable from a Rock Shox Reverb stealth out of the seat tube where the tube ends above the lower pivot? If there is a way out of the seat tube that way I think it would be possible to route the cable underneath the bottom bracket. At least if no front der. is mounted.

I have not received my frame yet, so I can't se for myself!

    Any comments?

Runes, Primes and Spitfires doesnīt have that Hole for Reverb Stealth. I have heard that this Hole is allowed to drill without Warranty-Issues - when itīs done professionally!!! Please ask the Banshee-Guys if you are allowed and where to drill.

351 views, looks like quite a few people who want to drill a hole in their new frame :-)

Yes, the 2014er Primes, Runes and Spitfires do have them. For the 2013ers you have to DIY, see Post 2.

I just installed the Reverb Stealth on my 2013 Rune. Dennis at Banshee gave me some great advice. There's a pre-existing hole in the frame if you look in the lower pivot box just above your BB. It's really tricky to see but if you shine a light down the seat-tube it helps to see it. I ran the Stealth cable down the seat-tube, through the hole, staying underneath the lower axle/yoke, around the bottom of the BB and up the lower frame tube using the front derailleur mounts (I run 1x10). I removed my cranks, chainguide and the lower axle to feed the stealth cable through. It's a tight fit when you re-install the axle/yoke but the stealth cable isn't squished. Maybe not ideal but the benefit of the Stealth was worth it to me and it's been working great.

Thats cool. I wonder if it would work with the KS Lev integra, or if the cable housing bend would be too tight.

Any longevity issues with the Reverb Stealth since installing Ryan? I love this idea!

    Cheers

Hey there LP88...no issues with the set-up. It seemed like a tight bend around the BB when I installed but that hasn't caused any problems and the Stealth has worked great since installation. It's a pretty clean set-up if you go for it.

it seems there's no rubber sealing/protection around hole.
I'd have expected proper rubber or plastic fitting.
