    142x12 questions.

Presently I am running the 135x10 drops on my Rune with 135x10 bolt ons. I am wanting to convert my Hope Pro 2 to 142x12 (easy enough with a conversion kit). I am just wondering who I can source the drop outs from? Trident? Also, does the drop out kit come with an axle? Are the drops RS Maxle compatible?

Will I notice a difference in stiffness going to the 142x12?

i'd just stick to 135x10mm if i was you. 142mm without the sockets in the dropouts has no real advantage over 135x10mm. i seriously doubt you'll see an increase in stiffness, i think the new setup looks plenty stiff 135 or 142mm

    Re: 142x12 questions.

On my full suspension Norco Range, going from 135x to 142 definitely stiffened things up, always a question of value. Can't help on where to source them, sorry.
