The You Yangs are currently closed until at least April. You can check out the info here: http://www.youyangsmtbinc.com.au/

I'd recommend going to Wombat or if you can deal with the drive, Forrest was pretty dry a couple of weeks ago

Bloody hell, everything is struggling over there. I hope the trails come back better and stronger before winter hits.

Got out to Lysty but on the other side of Wellington Rd. Most of it was outside of the park along tracks between the road and the fence. At least i got the legs pumping again. Cheers

    Hey Steve,

I will be back this year, probably sometime around november/decemberish. Loving it over here, but missing home a fair bit.

Sweet, we'll organize a ride for you then, a tough one, it'll break your balls, then you'll realize why you left.

I went a couple of weeks ago and it was about 70-80% dry. It should be better now as we haven't had any major rainfall for a few days (yesterday was a bit wet but not terrible). It wasn't badly rutted either except for 2 spots where its been washed away a bit, but for a trail over 20k's it is in reasonably good nick

Thanks am looking forward to getting back on the bike, it was getting a bit depressing reading about all the trail closures over the last 3 months. Good to hear that Wombat seems to have survived it all!
