    The winter blues???

Just guessing but do a few people here have the winter blues? Ive been suffering a bit, but only when it comes to weekday rides, weekends have been ok. If it wasn't for taking my son for a few rides during the week I would be very unfit right now.

Hows everyone else going, the warm living room and tv to good to leave? Or is everybody doing secret training that they dont want anyone to know about

I often struggle to keep up a regular schedule of riding over winter. Been doing just enough, but not enough if you know what I mean.

Definitely. Miserable and dark first thing in the morning and dark after work. Motivation is difficult to come by. Can't wait for summer!

    Hi

Been pretty hard going here in Perth of late. Had a few solid days of rain. Tuesday was the worst for me with cross winds gusting to 80 km/h and rain that was blowing so hard it was hurting like hell. Today is looking good but.

My little part of OZ is great in winter, today and yesterday sunny blue skies and mid twenty's what more do you need.

If you live in Vic, well you have the footy

Did the usual Thursnight Cog ride. Was like riding in early Summer! Tracks were in awesome condition. Last night there was 5 out for the ride. The previous 2 Thursnites. we had 10 and 11 on colder and wetter tracks, go figure!! This is in eastern Melbourne were we've had about 70mm of rainfall in July.

However they may leave you behind to ride back to the cars in the dark after your cable gets ripped out of your helmet light (thanks fellers)

The Cog ride last night was my first in a month (in Aus anyway) I did quite a bit of riding in Hanmer Springs in NZ a couple of weeks ago, some pics to come when I find some time and camera batteries.
It hasn't been the winter blues so much for me but rather the lack-of-time-and-other-stuff-happening. However I'm back with a vengeance so watch out everyone.
