    Smiths Gully Store

If anyone is looking for a change of lifestyle, the Smiths Gully General Store is up for sale.
Asking price is $680. It wouldn't be a bad little(?) project with a lot of growth potential considering the amount of both road & mountain bike traffic.
    Any takers?
I haven't got any inside information, just noticed the Ad in the local paper.

There's a lot of potential there. Mostly weekend based though. Wish I had the cash.

    Ditto!

I had coffee there after a ride yesterday morning (9 ish) and every table was taken by cyclists.

It does have potential doesn't it. I could see a proper "lifestyle business" taking place there.

With a more focused approach towards catering for the enthusiasts that frequent it could turn into a very profitable operation with offerings towards both the roadies and mtb'rs. My case study would be trail mix at Lysterfield.
