If you avoid the main roads, ride to the top of Mt St Leonards (not a Mt St Leonards ride if you don't actually get there?), take Tanglefoot Tk to the picnic area and return via Myrtle Gully Tk then...maybe. Though I don't know what condition the tracks are in now, probably need a machete to get through...

If there's not many I'll park at Andrews on Chum Ck rd, then we'll go along the aqueduct, up Tk 11,up Monda Tk to Mt St Leonard, down Quarry rd, Sylvia Ck rd,? tk to the base of Monda Tk, then back up to Mt St Leonard if we feel like it, or go through the Quarantine station to the 4WD track that parallels Chum Ck Rd back down to Healesville.

Bit of main rd after the 4WD track runs out and before the road-side singletrack but that's all, unless you consider Monda or Sylvia main roads...

Definitely open to suggestions, don't know Myrtle gully but happy to get to know her.

Ok if the weather behaves itself I'm probably in, haven't ridden Tanglefoot/Myrtle Gully for a while and would be interested to see how they are now, plus never ridden Road 11 and would like to see what the fuss is all about. Yeah Sylvia is a main road but I guess it's a good option to have if we need to bail.

Looks like you started at the top last time! You expect about 3 1/2 hours of riding, give or take?

    Will confirm Friday.

Weather might be a big factor - looks a bit ordinary. We should all confirm Friday I think.

I started the ride at Giant steps last time - started the Garmin near the top though, that's why there's a straight line there! MrH has a track that goes through fom Sylvia ck rd and comes out at the bottom of Monda, missing out a chunk of Sylvia, but I don't know it's name.

Yes, roughly 3 1/2 hours, from the H's it's quicker, but we better ask MrsH if it's ok first...

Hmmm, I think I'll pull the plug too. I hate getting wet and muddy then driving home, I'll do a loop from home.
