I've never seen or heard of a Genius bike brand either.

Mustn't be that many of them around...

    my genius!!!!

I have the Apache XC Pro and love it! I built it this spring, bought the frame on ebay for just over 70 bucks and got most of the parts on ebay as well. It weights in at around 24 pounds ( bathroom scale...all I have) and rides like a bullet.

    Genius Apache XC Pro 19"
    X9 front and rear derailluer
    Xo rear cassette
    X0 chain
    X9 grip shifters
    Bontrager Crowbar
    Raceface deus xc stem
    Rockshox Dart 3 100mm
    FSA Afterburner crank
Avid bb5 brakes (soon to be bb7)
    Ergon GX1 grips
American Classic MTB 26 wheelset with ceramic bearings and Ti skewers
    Hutchinson Python Air lights
Specialized Body Geometry seat with Bontrager sport posts.
    Cane Creek headset

I am going to be changing the fork out for a better one...not sure what yet, and looking for Thomson elite seat post and 15 deg. stem. Then she SHOULD be complete!

Yep.... If you type in genius frame in ebay the company is still selling them. I think when I got mine they had just started selling them because they were doing buy it now and regular auctions as well.
