... and if we just ... Coming to Canberra soon and ......

    .....have a few questions?

I will be in Canberra for 2 years starting the beginning of August and I need some advice on bike setup.

    1: tires/tyres? what are you guys/gals running?
2: What causes the most flats there?
3: do you think a 1X10 would be good for ridding there or stick with a triple on the front?
4: anything unique to the area that a rider should know?

Looks like Stromlo Mtn will be my main place of riding seeing that I will be living within about 20 km of it.

Thanks for the info in advance! Really looking forward to moving there!

Welcome Dan, youll love it dont listen to the naysayers
    1. tubeless . at sparrow/ridge/majura crossmark; at stromlo maybe chunkier..ive got an ignitor on the front and crossmark rear
    2. pinch flats, occas sidewall tear. havent had a flat in 2 years with LUST tubeless
    3. Go triple unless you are superfit. I love going out into the Brindies (mountains) nearby for long day rides and the hills are huge
    4. Brindies!! There is dirt trails connecting the whole city. Just try a ride one day from south to north with no tarmac and youll find out!

Everything in Canberra is within 20ks!!
