    3 Day All Mountain Ride & Shuttle Trip Tasmania (departing Melbourne)

    Hey guys,

    Blue Dirt will be taking a small group of riders on a crazy MTB adventure in October. We will be catching the Ferry from Melbourne to Devonport however riders are welcome to fly in to Launceston from anywhere in AUS /The world and meet us there.

    This trip will be an epic 3 day All Mountain trip to the North East regions of Tasmania. We will be earning our turns through picture perfect rain forrest and bushland. All three days will be action packed with new locations, different styles of riding and terrain.

    WHAT: 3 day guided mountain bike tour and shuttle trip to North East Tasmania

    WHEN: 17, 18, 19 October 2014

    DAYS RIDING: 3 Full days of riding (Fri. Sat. Sun)


    Blue Tier
    Over 50km of trails through spectacular native forest. Often when asked what is their favourite place to ride in Tassie is, mountain bikers will say Blue Tier. Home to the famous Blue Tier Descent trail which is a 20km descent through incredible terrain including creek crossings and more.

    Ben Lomond
    Starting in the Ben Lomond Ski Resort, this is a hair raising descent which see’s riders drop 1050 vertical metres, done over 20 km. There is a mixture of awesome single trail and 4WD track getting your down at warp speed.

    Kate Reed
    20kms of awesome trail ranging from beginner to intermediate level. Super fun flowy trails that will be a great warm up for whats to come.

    A pristine network of mountain bike trails constructed by trail building guru’s Dirt Art. There is something for everyone here including flow, tight technical sections and raw trail.

    An awesome mix of trails through some remarkable terrain. Whether its smooth flow you want or gnarly rock gardens and drops, we’ll find something for you. At this location we will shuttle a 10km descent which will have you begging for more.

    Rattler Hill
    Another awesome shuttle location we will ride on this trip. Prepare for some raw trail, steep descents, rocky and wild single track.

    GROUP SIZE: Limited to 10 riders

    RIDE TIME: 5 – 6 hours per day

    ACCOMMODATION: Shared pub style accommodation (also serving the best Tamanian beers around)

    TRAILS: All trails are All Mountain / Cross Country style

    FORMAT: Mixture of point to point rides, loops and shuttle sessions. We want to keep your tyres in the best dirt possible therefore we will ride multiply locations throughout our trip. Our guides will take care of everything, all you have to do is turn up!

    PRICING : $890.00 per person excl. travel to Tasmania if needed

    Professional guided rides for 3 days
    All on ground transport in Tasmania
    Shuttle runs on multiple trails
    2 nights shared accommodation (Fri. & Sat.)
    Breakfasts each day
    Lunch Sat. and Sun.

    Whats not included:
    Flight or Ferry to Tasmania – We will give you a recommended flight/ferry. You book your own ticket.
