    Hi all.
I will be travelling on business to China in late July and early August.

There is a day to spare in Beijing on Saturday July 31 and another in Hong Kong on Saturday August 7.

Is there someone out there who might rescue me from urban business stagnation and hook me up with a ride on one of those two days?

I can bring helmet, pedals and shoes and an American something you might like.

    Peace all,
    Raineman

    Hi Raineman,

For rides in HK, you should contact my friend Ben Lun. They do large group ride almost every week. His info can be find at www.mtbunited.com. They ride alot of DH stuffs but also do some XC riding as well.

btw, seems like your chinese translation is all wrong. The sentence is hard to understand.
Ben speaks very good english. You guys should have a good time.

Man I have been here for more than a year-Beijing and have not been able to hook up with anyone to ride with except road groups. I dont have a car so that is one thing holding me back, I have my MTB from the states here but I cant seem to get the time together to ride it. Good luck when you are here and stop in for a post ride beer and some good american pizza, The Kros Nest #35 Xiao Yun Lu across from the Hyundai building 83913131, Cheers Marty

Hong Kong Sunday Morning Ride at Dragon's Back Trail

It is quite short, only 6km but it is the only official trail on Hong Kong Island.

The trail head is 1.5km from the subway station so public transport is ok.

You can drop a note at the Hong Kong Mountain Bike Association forum.
