    WELL, as you may know, a Surly 1x1 is just about the best bike in Maricopa County, if not Gila County as well. As for the Yeti(s)...well they are kinda vintage and one is going on a little tour soon in the boonies. Nice. Me? Well, I have a headache.

    i have to disagree. everyone knows that those new fadish 700cc monstrosities made by niner et al are the best bikes. why everyone in the 29er forum will tell you so.
    have fun in the boonies and drink more water.

    Yes, I did know that. The second best must be a Niner Somethingorother.

    What differentiates between completely vintage and kinda vintage?

    vintage to me is lusted after classic 20+ year old mountain bikes.
