Seriously? I'm not sure you know what you speak of. What you call wind is just a ripple off of the wind currents in Wyoming.

Yes, but being my first post didn't want to seem like a b*tch. It's been windy around here for the last few weeks.

Not only am I tired of it, I am convinced there is an evil spirit, which controls the direction of said wind. I just got a new road bike, have not ridden with a tailwind in two weeks upon the new steed.

I know every spring is like this but it does seem extreme this year.

Yaponcha....Hopi Wind God, resides up by the sunset crater.

A little ceremonial smoking of the pipe and it's all good.

Was on Powell last week and rented a slip for the 3 days because the wind made it to much work to find a camp spot up lake.... make it stop mommy.

I've never found wind to be that much of a factor when mountain biking... and since I've retired from road riding (why waste a perfectly good day fightin' cars)... wind does suck on the 24 Hours in OP going up the ridge... seems to always be in your face ... but I'm on dirt ridin' my bike... my legs were charred yesterday and rode 13 miles over to a friends house to do a night ride and that west wind did add some effort... but mostly cause I was just tired...

When the wind is loud the rest of the world goes silent, I kind of like that.
