I ride most tuesdays at san tan around 5. This week I started riding at 4:30. Its either ride early, or not at all. So I'll take what i can get, even if it has to be that early. Got to drive kids to school then be at work by 7:30. Saturdays I'll ride somo around 5ish also. I've grown to love bein out super early, seems like the trail is all my own. No bike traffic, or especially hikers which is even better!!

Sure do, they're the ones still out riding in the summer's 110s.

I HATE waking up super early but LOVE being on the trail already when the sun rises. Goes back many years to all the camping me and my buddies would do: Get up while it's dark, fire up the hot cocoa, and be on the lake fishing before the sun rises. Back to camp 'round 9 or 10a for breakfast.
