Wheel upgrade for ride/racing around here (AZ)

I am looking to upgrade my Carve wheel set to something lighter and to a 15mm TA..

What are some strong but lighter rims that can handle this area?
    Too Many .

Stans Arches or Flows depending on your weight and riding style.

The 2013 version of the WTB i23 rims are made with a new alloy they claim to be stronger and lighter than earlier versions. I wouldn't know if that's a real upgrade from what you already have though.

I agree, look around ebay for deals. I bought mine on ebay with no issues. And there are 15mm conversion cups out there also. The stans website has all the rider weight restrictions.

You should be able to get a wheelset for $480 total.

A great combo would be FlowEX or ArchEX rims on Hope hubs. The Stans prebuilt stuff is fine too. I recently went out on a limb and ordered a wheelset from Pacenti though. For the money, it will be hard to find something that will beat the Pacenti builds. TL28 rims, alloy nips, double butted spokes on Hope Pro II Evo hubs hand-built for about the price and weight of a Stans wheelset.
