    What's with the Gnome

    Okay..

I meet this guy lats night. After getting to talking, I offer to place his Gnome with red reflector stickers on its eyes on the 24H course for this weekend. Since I'm pretty sure I'll be setting up blinkies along the course I thought it wouldn't be a big deal.

So I start talking to someone else from out of town who has witnessed people go Gnome crazy over the passed 2 years or so. He attributes it to this site. Is this some nutty cult tradition that has carried on for NO REASON AT ALL? Is it like the kitty cat on FARK.com?

I think I have comitted myself to perpetuating a Gnome movement that I had no idea existed.

    OH Dear!

    To understand is to be

Dude, Gnomes are the epitome of deep woods culture. To be at one with the northwoods singletrack is to understand the gnome. Also they taste great fried in butter.

Of course the important questions is: does the gnome have proper signage?
