What time can you start riding without lights in Sedona?

My son and I are taking out bikes and plan on riding at Hangover and want to get out before the bad heat. What time do you think we can launch at?

Thanks. I bet that 0530 will be easy to see the trail. Right?

You can start riding at dawn = presunrise. Enough light is subjective but at 445 is visible enough for me. Have you ever ridden after sunset without lights? I usually can get another 20-25 minutes of riding after sunset.

Riding in the pre-dusk twilight is helluva stressful as you trying to avoid getting stuck at the trails at night.
Riding at dawn twilight is pure pleasure as you know it's only getting brighter and it's the coolest period of the day.
