    For your consideration...

Flagstaff average July precipitation is 2.6 inches.

GEFS (Global Ensemble Forecast System) shows that much falling in the next 5-7 days. The "ensembles" are a collection of weather forecast models run with slight differences that attempt to show the range of forecast possibilities -- instead of giving a single forecast number.

Current radar shows showers across eastern Arizona.

    And so it begins...

When I was in Prescott Wednesday I could feel the extra moisture in the air. Alot more sweaty then on Saturday.

Weather underground is predicting rain every day in flag starting Saturday 7/7 through 7/14 (last day of 10 day forecast)

So lets hope the rain actually comes.

Reports are it is raining in Greer 1:30pm Thursday.

Here in the Shire/Ft. Valley area, we received some steady, light rain today starting after noon and lasting through 3pm...off and on....some light thunder. Not enough to penetrate more than the surface layer of soil....it's gonna take a lot more....but still welcome.

Make sure to set the "Period Selection." The default is 15 minutes.

Also, wildfire now burning near Upper Lake Mary. Helitack was impressive. Otherwise, I can't find any information online [yet] about this fire.
