    Waterline rd ?

    has anyone rode waterline rd. (around the peaks loop) since the big storm a few weeks ago.
    planning on coming up this sunday to ride this loop.

    it's closed (again). Probably be next summer before it's open again. Little Bear and Little Elden too.

    None of the infrastructure was damaged so they don't have to replace pipe. Sounds more like some bulldozer work to get the surface sluff off so hopefully sooner rather than later.

    Well -- you can drive to Lockett Meadow and then ride the Inner Basin Trail up to the undamaged section of Waterline. From there you can ride into the Inner Basin or continue on the Waterline Road to Bear Jaw and Abineau.

    Trying to ride the damaged sections of Waterline might be difficult -- and it could be dangerous since rocks have been dislodged and could roll.

    If you try it, report back and let us know!

    You could take Shultz Pass Rd. all the way to near 89 and ride up to LM from there.

    rode this route on sunday and I will say waterline rd is clear all the way,no HAB.
    fr418 was pretty muddy.
