    A Totally Serious Question

Anybody put their heater on yet?

My gawd, it's 72 degrees in my house right now. I think I have frost bite. How many days until summer?

Vegas was chilly the past few days.

Odd this question coming from the person that gave me a hard time for inquiring about weather gear last month!

We rode National to 32nd this morning at sun up and it was niiiiice and cold, might of even seen my breath at one point. . . got to wear the sweatshirt while riding (for all of ten minutes then it came off). We can finally sleep with all the windows and doors OPEN at night.

Skinny you are a wuss. Every summer you start a thread about AC, every winter you start a thread about heaters. Be confident in your choice of climate-control! There are support groups for you, but MTBR is not one of them. Cripes my 3-yr old knows how to ask for a hat...

Are you coming to the swap meet? I have an old sweater I could trade you.

LOL, I thought about that just before hitting the "Post" button. The two worst days of the year for me are the first 100 degree day, and the first sub 60 degree.

I actually dropped a pull last night, and part of me, in the back of my head, blamed my cold hands .

One of two (in a row to boot) we dropped last night. I think they used vaseline on the disc.

once at Savage 7 in Santa Fe, we're playing in a huge swirling wind, and the pull hangs in the air forever and I catch it on the back cone. My first receiver was busy smelling the flowers and is standing like at midfield while i'm facing a 20 mph crosswind. I throw it with all seven defenders in my face, Callahan goal for them.

They pull again, repeat repeat repeat. And I couldn't even take a sub.

I've never told that story to anyone, I repressed it.

Was 67 in the house this morning, I thought it felt great. The old lady called and said she turned on the heat as soon as I left.

I'll never understand her. If it's hot outside she needs it 65F inside. If it's cooler outside she needs it 80F inside.

FYI, my car said it was 39F this morning on the NW side of Tucson at ~5:20 am.

This condition is not "Wuss" but instead is "Narrow Comfort Zone". I fully admit to having a very narrow comfort zone and I will support others with the same condition Yes Skinny, it's too cold outside and the days are too short. I haven't turned on the heat yet but I am wearing more clothes to bed at night.

ahh...well. now that you've classified it as a condition, my disdain turns immediately to sympathy, for Skinny and his entire family.

Oh, don't even get me started on the short days. I hate when I leave work (which constitutes turning my computer and shutting my office door) and it's dark out.
