    Sunrise maintenance

Got word from the mountain on Sunrise maintenance...

    If you are interested:

    1. Show up at Sunrise ready to go (w/ tools if you got e'm) at 7AM sharp
    2. Don't expect a lift ticket, we definitely all think it would be awesome to get free tickets every time we helped but it just does not work that way...there may be one involved for you depending on crew size (early birds get the worm...) but it is entirely up to them.
    3. Work with the Sunrise crew on the trails and have a good time fixing trails you like to ride.

If you don't mind working for free on these trails you are guaranteed to be able to work on them. If you feel you must have a ticket for your work put in, this may not be for you.

I'll be there for Sundays maintenance.

    I'm here to ride.

Hope I'm wrong and their web site's wrong. Never know wtf's up with Sunrise. Maybe they have some archery event this weekend, maybe they don't...

Got nothing planned this weekend and wanted to go up there and ride.

Well, learn something new everyday, just heard about it. Although it is on a different mountain than the biking and hiking,

Maybe this old rhyme will help your confusion:

I shot an arrow in the air.
    It hit a mountain biker.
    I know not where.

You can always put on an animal costume and ride anyway.

Will I get a free lift ticket? That's the only way I'm doing trailwork...we bring so much to the gravity scene and are making sunrise the sickest hill in AZ for all the shredderz and the totally rad gnar gnar homies bruh.

Then bruh, when I don't get my way I will bad mouth sunrize every chance I get cause the will never realize what we could have done for them.

I think it is pretty obvious at this point but Sunrise maintenance and riding/hiking is closed- for an archery tournament this weekend (24th/25th). I spoke with Butch who runs the rental shop with our bikes at Sunrise this morning. Previous years it has been on one of the other mountains so they would allow riders and hikers up BUT this year they are not allowing bikers/hikers up during the tournament.

    Candy!
