    Sugar Loaf Lodge In Sedona...

Is it just me or is the Sugar Loaf Lodge a pretty darn good option for mountain biking sedona.

    1) cheap rates.
    2) right across the street from Over the Edge.
    3) Easily ride to trail system. Not all trails but quite a few.
    4) Walking distance to Brew Pub.

I am going to check it out this weekend. Ill let you all know how it is. On paper it seems like my kind of setup.

    Sugar Loaf Lodge In Sedona...

My buddy and I were very pleased when we stayed there a few years ago. Bailed on cold snow camping, very early check-in (after breakfast), hot thawing showers, then rode all day. Not extravagant like a lot of the town, but just right for riders.

It's okay...a bed and a hot shower...what more could you want for a bike trip? I think they even have a pool/hot tub area. You really couldn't be more centrally located in West Sedona with grocery stores, restaurants, and trails all close enough to park your car for the weekend....
The secret to mountain biking is pretty simple. The slower you go the more likely it is you’ll crash.

Stayed there a couple years ago; compared to snow camping, it's great, compared to everything else in Sedona, it's a dump. Definitely not a long term accomodation, but two or three nights is just fine.

They are bike friendly. We have stayed there many times throughout the years.

My stay went very well. Place is quiet comfortable and has all you need. I rode from my room to the trails. Wifi was really good too.

That's where I will be the end of January, early February. Nice quiet clean spot, great hot tub.
