Nice! Was that a squirrel or some sort of varmint you chased down through the notch?

Great vid, seems like you and this Ryan guy have been riding for quite some time. Recall digging up a video of prom night and ginger from a few years back and sure as shiza, you two were riding in that vid as well. Definitely look forward to checking out the new re-route on hi line

I can't wait to get out and ride it again since CREC was out doing work on it yesterday. Woahey says a lot of the newly placed rock in the upper chute area, is getting blown out. It will be interesting how that spot progresses for the 70%'ers.

That would be a great video to share with Jennifer, it really shows how easy that trial is to ride and that user conflicts with other bikers and their dogs are easily avoidable with quick whited mountain bikers like ra and 77.

Since the vid was shot there have been some very cool changes to the line. CREC has been out all week and I got out on Monday and today to help Tomas out with work. The weird 90 degree turn has been upgraded, just come into the original roll down line before the awkward corner to the left, a smoother transition has been built and the corner is rounded, no more weird track stand turning move!

Also there is a big turn left of the steep slick rock seam line, it's much more flowy and gets riders off the breaks a little to cut down on erosion before that section. After that corner you can drop back into the seam or go for an intimidating wall ridish corner on a steep slick rock face and back on to the main line. I think it's pretty sick and should entertain the more advanced riders out there.

The rock work that the CREC crew is doing below those areas is ridiculous. I learned quite a bit just talking with those guys and gals and seeing what they were doing. All in all it was a great experience to get out and learn some things from some of the best trail builders out there.

    Awesome!

I can't wait to go check the new work out next week. I rode most of the day down in sedona today and the dirt and the weather are soooo nice right now.

I haven't watched it yet, but based on the comments, that must be the "I ain't no nice guy after all" song.

Ra, you make the last section look like a cakewalk! Definitely not as easy as it looks in the video! For me at least

    Nicely done

My buddy and I rode Hiline last spring. We both made it down the chute ok and I stopped after the off camber rocks. I look back to see him go down hard on the bare rock. He made it down the chute and thought he was home free. The off camber rock got him. After our injury time out confidence was low and we had to walk those steep rock drops. The rest of the ride was sweet.
