So ya'll don't feel too sorry for me..

I present this afternoons activities: first tracks of the fall, above 9,000' in the Bitterroot Mountains.

Rocks are better for biking, though.

Nice, I remember that great feeling of first tracks. It's been a few years, but I keep hoping somehow the knees are going to get better and I'll be skiing again. Until then I'll hang out down here in sunny Phoenix enjoying frosty margaritas, excellent beer at the bike swap, and the biking is pretty good to.

Hey, do you know how I can chase down Chad. I've been trying to get in touch with him. If so send me contact info at cstuttle@sisna.com

    Best to M

No doubt. 'specially this time of year.

I'm giving MT a fair shake. I may be headed south again in 18 months.

kinda looked like it.....big open scree field with wind blown snow and a look out tower on top...not too many places quite like it down here. Congrats on making it to the top with skis this early.

the Red Barn is south of Hamilton by a few miles. Bring the bike if you come down and we'll ride. You'll like the bitterroots by way of bike : )
