    Replacement rear triangle?

Snapped clean through the drive-side seat stay on the rear triangle of my KHS Prescott today. It's a Specialized rear triangle...I only need to replace the seat stay. Does anyone know if you can get separate individual components for a rear triangle instead of replacing the whole thing? I'd prefer to do the work myself...any ideas where I can find a replacement?

if you are original owner you may have warranty help available. ask a bike shop that sells KHS what your options are. you could always contact KHS directly and see if the spare part is available. if you can't find any help, you may have to get a whole new frameset in your favorite flavor, and build it up with the KHS prescott parts? I believe KHS is located in AZ.

I snapped both chainstays on my Specialized Stumpy ('04) a few years back (a rather shocking development during a ride). LBS was able to get replacements.

I had a Broadie that I snapped the seat stay on a few times. I was able to get the seat stays warrantied every time...

I got mine from BTI. They even worked on getting me the my chainstay warrantied too. I paid nothing! I just had to wait about 8 months......

    Replacement rear triangle?

Ray at Paragon Cycling at Gilbert & Brown in Mesa got me the part under warranty, props to you Ray! Now I discovered a cracked weld on the left chain stay just behind the bottom pivot, looks like another warranty item. Ray is already on top of it. Excellent experience at Paragon, thanks Ray!!
