A buddy snapped this of me as I was checking to make sure the bike was tight in the roof rack. Now, THAT'S helmet hair, huh?

Although it was 160* in the direct sunlight, I still rode @ 200 laps/ 4 miles on the pump track.
I was soooo soaked after 2 hours that I litterly looked like I just got out of the pool.
Needless to say, I was pretty DRY after cooling down.

my t-shirts are now approaching a sleeves-hacked-off to with-sleeves ratio that hasnt been this high since the mid/late 90s.

I told ya it was hot!
I think you should have looked in the mirror!
Imagine if every valley mtn bike rider looked like that; we could be mistaken for hi-temp zombies!
Zombie hunting season may be in full swing if the high temps continue!

No, I will not ride in a dome with ST!

After it cooled down to 107F, I went out to catch the sunset, it even looked hot.

Hit up Desert Classic Saturday night, Telegraph to Pima and back, some East Loop and Beverly Canyon, still 98 when I came off the trail at 11:30. Lots of critters out and about on a warm night like that.

At 3 pm, did east loop to Javelina, Mormon/Nat'l.

Too much fun, and a great way to get real tired. Admittedly pre-hydrated. But I am the exception when it comes to heat riding. Pretty dusty.
