Rain = building = big bike jumps

after it rains, anyone interested in helping build a big bike jump/table top/step up in the tukee area?

Does the build depend on how much rain we get?

Did you get a chance to build / ride or was it too wet.

    Not too wet after all

Got one new jump built. Would have gotten more done if I hadn't been a bit, optimistic with the landing. It ended up being about 3 ft too long (the gap) which made it really hard to clear (short run in). Can't wait to get some more done on this line, then I can hit some jumps before work

I hit IKEA yesterday for the first time, ate **** on the second set in the pack. Anyone else notice all the coyotes down there?

There's a ton of duck and other animals down there since it rained so I'm betting the coyotes are hitting the buffet. I never got the nerve to throw myself into that rhythm section, hence the building of smaller stuff

Nice! I wanted to get out there, but didnt get a chance. Is it still moist? What do you think that gap stands at as it is?

It's not very big. The takeoff is about 2 ft tall (although it is on a slight downhill) and the gap is about 8 ft. Kinda thinking of making the runout into a pump track-type thing. Small berms that flow into jumps... Going out in the am to do some more. There was standing water on the edges so hopefully it's moist enough to build without hauling a ton of water.
