    RACE information

so i want to start competing in some races, never have before, downhill to be specific.... so my question to you is how do i get involved other than the mbaa.... it seem's to me that the mbaa focuses more on xc races rather than downhill, but that's just what i've gotten off their website.. can i race wiithout a mbaa membership, privateer style? where is the best place to find info for DH races... i guess i could try some xc races, but peddling just isn't my thang...
i'm assuming (without makin an arse out of you and me) the season for races out there is pretty much over? at least for the remainder of the summer? so yea, really any and all information anyone can give me is good information... thanks folks...
p.s. flagstaff this weekend if anyone is down...
    i like these odds....

post in the dh fr forum and you will get tons of info from the racers themselves. Lots of stuff these days and bootleg canyon holds a few each year.
