    Props to L.B.S. - Slippery Pig

    Just like to share my experience with Local Bike Shop Slippery Pig;

    First off, I shop at pretty much every LBS in the valley and for the most part I've been pleasantly surprised at how nice the service is. Today I felt was up and beyond.

    Started out Sunday on SoMo where coming down National my hanger decided to break and send my rear derailer into my spokes. The damage was a broken hanger, bent derailer and 8 broken spokes.

    I coasted back to the car and headed to Slippery Pig, because it's on my drive home. Dropped off the EG and just like ordering sushi I checked off a few other things on the work order.

    New hanger
    New derailer
    Replace Spokes
    Check rear brakes

    When i dropped off EG it looked like I rode thru a 4 hour dust storm. But when i got it back, it looked brand new!!!!

    Great work and great service and GREAT LOOKING NEW LOCATION SHOP!!!!

    I had a very good experience with Slippery Pig this past week too. I finally determined that the creaking noise I have been hearing was my Lyrik fork so I took it to another popular shop and they told me that basically I had to live with the noise. D'OH! On the way home I stopped by Slippery Pig and spoke with Eric. Eric said that Rockshox would replace the steerer/crown/stanction assembly and George would build it up. A week later Rockshox had sent them a replacement steerer/crown/stanction assembly and George had put it all back together. When I got their to pick up the fork the star nut was installed, and the crown race was in the fork. The bummer was that George mentioned it was his last day at Slippery Pig.

    Props to Cane Creek too - while the bike was down I called Cane Creek to ask about servicing the bearings in my 110 headset as they were very rough - 4 days later a new headset arrived.

    I've liked the Pig ever since they gave me a free wiener last Friday. If they'd clean my crank too they might have a patron for life. That's good service!

    Down side... George left Slippery Pig
    Up Side....George is still in town

    Me experience with George's work has been A+++++++, super quick and right the first time with no upsell.

    Now for the tough decision. Return to Slippery Pig since they are an excellent shop or seek George's wrenching skill?????
