The Prescott Pump Track has reopened for the season in Granite Creek. The weather has finally let up and the track is rideable again. It will need some routine maintenance so PMBA (Prescott Mountain Bike Alliance) is hosting a work day next Saturday, March 23 to help tune it up. Bring your bikes to check it out following the morning of prep. Check the web site for more details.

PMBA is also working in conjunction with the Back Country Horsemen to sign a new section of trail northwest of Granite Mountain. The horsemen will pack the tools and signage out to the trail while the MTB crew rides our. We'll install signs at predetermined locations and move on to the next spot. Come out to show our support of multi-use trails and get to ride a trail you've probably never ridden before. We'll meet up at 8:00AM and carpool out. Again, check the PMBA web site for details.

PMBA was awarded a Volunteer Appreciation Certificate from Jason Williams at the Prescott National Forest for 524 hours of volunteer time spent on area trails. Thanks to all the volunteers who made this happen!
