getting out of the phoenix heat for a couple of days and was wondering where you guys would recommend for a decent place to saddle up and dull the pain with something a little better than the usual fizzle yellow stuff. any suggestion?

Prescott Brew pub off Gurly street for good porters. You really can't go wrong with any place in Prescott though.

    Microbrewery

Prescott Brewing Company... Lodge Pole Light is an award winnig bear. Reminds me a little of Sun Brew at 4-Peaks.

Lyzzards Lounge after some bangers and mash at the Prescott Brewing company. El charro and the Office are good too. You can keep an eye on your bike if you manage to get a parking spot in front of either one. There is also a new microbrewey on cortez? Granite Mountain brewery I think.

+1. My buddy (Prescott Valley resident) takes me there whenever I visit him. They got some tasty appetizers too.

Bill's Grill - great selection of microbrews on tap at a good price and good burgers.

Granite Mountain Brewery opened a couple weeks ago and they have a few good beers (Stout and IPA) but not much for food if you are looking for a brewery type place. If you are looking for many beer choices you can not beat The Raven and the food is typically decent.
