    New ride

Went to Slippery Pig last night, to browse their selection of road bikes. They brought out this beauty...my size and everything. I got a screaming deal so I couldn't pass it up.

Lemond Victoire - carbon/ti frame, Bontrager components, Ultegra drivetrain, and XTR pedals. It weighs about 18 lbs "stock". I haven't done anything but bring it home and ride it in front of my house, so don't mind the bars and steerer. This thing is FAST. Very fast. Looking forward to some long rides with it.

Erik said I was his best customer this month.

It was far too good a deal to pass up.

I think that the crew is going to disown me now. First 29, then this...

    very dissapointed in you. :-).

You are gonna be stupid fast on the DH rig if you keep ridin' pedal bikes.

    I
love my Lemond roadie and it's been getting a lot more time than the MTB lately.

    Congrats!
Why would I need more than one gear?

looks like its way out of balance. the seat looks like the nose is high, and the bars should probably be turned down a bit.

i love riding my roadie bike. its good exercise.
