    Need a new seat

So I broke one of the rails on my seat and I need a new seat now so I can get it broke it in by the Prescott 6er next week (thats gonna happen). Who has a good selection of seats? The broke one is a Specialized henge expert and it has never been comfortable so not gonna get that one again.

I have two of these. Not the lightest saddle, but not heavy either. Very comfortable, cheap, and durable.

I've been a fan of SDG for years. Rage has a nice selection of saddles to check out, I think they even have some WTB demo saddles...

When it comes to saddles, you REALLY have to find one that fits YOU. Others recommendations are fine, but a saddle that fits one guy will make another guy be in pain. For me, finding the right saddle was a matter of realizing I needed one 140mm wide. After a bunch of racer type 130mm saddles that were aweful, I switched to a 140mm Charge Knife saddle that has been great for years. Conversely, I recommended it to two friends who hated it. I think the specialized guys have some sort of sits bones measurement thing (you sit on it and it leaves an impression that they measure?).

I'm partial to the Selle Iltalia saddles, always nice quality, function, weight, etc. Not super cheap, but the ones I got were worth it (Flite, Flite TT, etc).

Expounding on Raybum (who sounds like he has child bearing hips-just kidding I ride a 140 too) there are some good online resources to measure your sitbone width using cardboard.

Having to get a new saddle right before a long haul race is a tough spot to be in! Good luck!
