We got a group of us up to Flagstaff and I did my best to show them around. I'd only been once and wasn't leading the group but I felt confident that I'd be able to remember where things were at and not get us too lost. Three of the six are capable riders frequenting National often. The other three are not bad riders but not as used to technical terrain as Me, Grave9, and dsittman. And, Flagstaff chunk is a whole different beast so they were a little timid the first run as was I since I couldn't remember specifics of the terrain. I couldn't remember what jumps and drops were tough, which log ramps had landings, etc... so I took it easy the first run down Upper and Lower Wasabi. The second run down Double D and Lower Wasabi felt great and, most importantly, neither run was the disaster that many of you may remember from my first trip to Flagstaff...
