My Grass is Blue....and I ride it too

    All,
I'm going to be up in the White Mountains this weekend and am looking for a ride(s) with some folks. My primary purpose (unapolagetic and shameless plug) is to see my brothers bluegrass band, IIIrd Generation Bluegrass Band, at the White Mountain Bluegrass Music Festival this weekend.

I will say that I don't really need to see him play since I'm the one who tought the kid to play violin.........I'm really there for the beer and shine drinkin......if you think that sounds like a 24-hr/endurance race/event...then you're pretty spot on.

So....if any folks are up for some riding, liver damage and/or bluegrass.....post up so I can make arrangements. Otherwise, I'm going to head up there thurs night, camp out with the dogs and ride by myself, drink by myself until the band shows up....then mooch off their insatiable desire to drink in yet another town and eat every piece of meat said town has to offer......except Daniel.....he's a vegan.....which makes him the ONLY vegan in bluegrass history.

    I'm out....

I saw IIIrd Generation at a few bluegrass festivals I think. One in Wickenburg a few years back, and one South of Tucson at the casino. Great band!

What's your plan on riding? I haven't been there for years and only rode a few trails. I do love me some Bluegrass BTW.

Dreadnutts Sunday, 8/15 1pm. Bluegrass/folk band playing Music on the Mountain in Summerhaven. Bob Meighan leads the band, an old Tucson favorite. Bring bike and dancing shoes.
