    The making of a monsoon

It's tough to capture the lightning and rain, but here is the before and after of a monsoon that hit me today while riding 50 year trail. It's incredible to see the storm move across the valley and then the lighting as the sun started to set, oh man. I almost went bikepacking with Maad this weekend...this seems to have been what was in store for me instead of a nice weekend up in the pines.

That would be a thunderstorm, not a monsoon; respectfully. That said, great pics. Its all green up in Prescott right now, I imagine it is all over. It's the 2nd spring!

I love it, but it doesn't help when my wife is yelling at me like I am some damn fool.
Safety first? Right. I break my rules when it comes to Lightening, Mountain biking and women.
