    Is longhairmike finally in AZ?

If so, has he been on a bike yet? Come on Mike... don't hold out on us! How's it going?

yesterday i had 3 truck loads of deliveries for the dollstore. today i had my fridge, washer, dryer delivered, a/c and plumbing guys out here. tomorrow im getting a water softener installed. i still dont have a couch or puter desk and chair (using a sideways ikea expedit bookshelf and a hard barstool). tomorrow theyre installing a water softener and a pressure valve so i can get hot water in the farthest reaches of my plumbing, and also the exterminator is coming out assess and treat the place. i need to learn how to use my pool filter settings someday too. and all along we're getting clobbered with orders, my friend's wife is helping me pack this week on her vacation time.

i need to buy a suitable bike. my Y has a recalled fork, 4-year old tires, tubes, and a loose freewheel which i can get to because i don't have a chain whip. its barely safe by soft forest standards.

Yep, once a year maybe, if you can swing it.

Welcome! Check CL for a good used bike and turn that Y into garage art! Life will settle and soon you will be on the trails.
