Little Trail Work Day in Prescott (Father's Day)

We are throwing together a small group (6-10 people) for Rob Hehlen and the Prescott NF. It will be a quick one since it's Father's Day.

    Sunday, June 21, 2009

Working on: Creekside (Trail 367... the last portion of the Whiskey course)

Meeting at: Thumb Butte parking lot

    Start: 8:00 AM
    End: 11:00 AM

Water and nanners provided by Raven Singletrack; tools provided by USFS.

    Bring gloves and heavy shoes.

Oh and... if you could RSVP in this thread, in a PM to me, or to velokid1@yahoo.com, that would be helpful.

BUMP! Just a reminder on this one.

Come on out and move some dirt with us. We're doing some fairly serious work on Creekside, as I understand it. If you don't come out, no complaining about, "Did you see what they did to Creekside?!"

Yes, put me down as possible! (moving this week, might run into some unexpected snags)

If you make it, coolio... if you can't, no biggie. It'll be a small crew and 1/2 of us have Father's Day-related activities to get to directly afterward.

Good luck with the move. Don't forget one of my credos: Friends don't ask friends to help them move. Hehheh

That was a great session!! I'm not sure exactly how much trail we built, but I'd put it at maybe 35 yards of quality trail. Looks like it has been there for some time already.

    Thanks everyone for coming out.

There will be another trail building morning in July if anyone wants to join us. We'll post the date when we get it nailed down.

I'd say more like 100 yards.

Stay tuned... another trail work day on Creekside in late July... we still need to put in the teeter-totter and monkey bars to tech it out a little.
