    Hawes Night Ride, Thursday 7/21/11

Heading out to Hawes for a night roll around the system reverse style. Meet at Walgreens 7:30pm, then hit the Canal ST ->Hawes -> up Ridgeline-> up Mine -> up Saguaro (?-I can never remember the name) -> Secret -> Hawes or back down Ridgeline through TRW for bonus downhill miles. Mileage is somewhere around 12-15...or so. Probably 2ish hours with BS-ing and huffing and puffing. Come join the fun!

We'll attempt to reach a Zen state of climbing prowess like this guy:

SUPER tempted by this. Lately getting off work early enough to make it will be questionable but since I'm half way there at work (Priest & Southern) it makes the drive slightly more bearable. I've been wanting to try Hawes just to check it off my list. A cooler night ride would be swell. I'll keep my MagicShine on med or low since if you guys can knock off 12-15 miles in 2 hours it'll certainly take me 3...

We got a similar ride going on tonight, leaving Walgreens around 7:30~8:00 for a perimeter run. Not in reverse though.
    Check my pulse...

Get on it! We'll probably be closer to three hours as well anyways. Such a shame you haven't been to Hawes yet - it is pretty good stuff! Remember, "didn't" never did anything! Good luck with work.

I'm bringing my bike and gear but if tonight was any indication I won't be outta work until 8p. I'll have to leave work at 6:45p to make it out there in time. Probably not gonna happen...
