    Gym and Greenbelt Riding!

Who works out at the gym and rides the greenbelt? How do you avoid those nasty sprinklers?

Easy, why don't you go do some trail work.

Dog, you have already needed mental therapy for quite some time.

You know I can't condone the use or building of rogue trails.

How did it drain? Was it sustainable? Did it alter any endangered species habitats? Did it pass through any historically significant sites? AZdog's ancestral peoples are gonna put a hex on you for riding your bike through their burial site. Gonna be some hoodoo voodoo witch doctor chanting and stuff going on in here.

Rode out there before they added on to the lake. So a lot of the trails are under water now.

That's about where I was at. Just north east of the remodel heading south. Some spots on the pavement were wet. So I was on the look out and bam one fired up. Had the light on low and was going through the area where the apartments/town homes are on both sides.

Did get a kick out of two older ladies. Came up on them and was pretty much yelling on your left, on your left as they were yaking and taking up both sides of the path. Said this a half dozen times, finally one turns around (basically bike standing at this point) jumps out of her Doodooboi road gear as she sees my light blasting at her. I laughed as again I was not moving.

My suggestion is to remove the candy bars from the frig. It's a horrible disease and there is more to it then just over eating as so many think. Especially once you have to start insulin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all need to get your ass some Jesus. And maybe some of these so hikers can hear you coming on trail. Not that AZDog needs any help "coming" on trail.

You know it. Loved watching people try and cross the river to get to the sand bar.

I remember when Pima road was dirt and it took almost and hour to romp up to Pinnacle Peak or Reata Pass for steaks.

Scottsdale Airport was in the middle of nowhere but had a soda machine in a little cabana. Great dirt bike stop on the old Elsinore .

I feel young now! Pima turned to dirt about a mile after Shea when I was younger.

    Ahh, nice and entertaining.

CR500? That's a real bike. I read a funny quote about why they stopped making them. " It was a bike for real men. Unfortunately, it seemed that real men were in short supply". Good stuff.

Current ride is a XR 650R.....

Any of you remember Cactus Kawasaki on McDowell just west of Hayden across from the old K Mart? My family owned that shop from '71 to '77.

Dad made a killing off the Z1 900 and Z1 1000 models (original street legal crotch rockets) and cashed out. We were traveling all over NM, CO and UT with a U-Haul trailer buying crate bikes because he could not keep them on the floor long enough.
