    group rides?

I will be in mesa on the 18th for a week.Sounds like trails arn't marked to well. any group or buddy rides planned for next week? Need easier trails not used to real hills.Kinda flat around Dallas.

I read the reviews.Just wondered if there are any planned group rides. we have them all the time here makes for new friends and fun if you dont get hooked up with the nerd patrol or the group that just rides 3 miles then wants to go for a burger and talk about what great riders they are.

there is a pretty big group ride in oracle just southeast of mesa a few miles on saturday. i think they have it sunday as well
somewhere in the neighborhood of 1500 riders. around 16 miles per lap. just kidding
click the link above the photo caption contest on the right or post up sat/sun. groups always ride South Mountain. and there is another race here the following weekend at estrella (west 45 min). hawes is near there. check myspace as well for a screenname of "summit something". he has a group of riders that like to ride hawes all the time. tell him the az holes sent you.

    group rides. Wednesday and Sunday.

    Texas Scarlett.
there's a group that rides in the Scottsdale area on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings. They're always looking for other riders to join.

If you are still looking for a ride when you get here, let me know, we'll find somthing......

    ride suggestion

    hey texas scarlett and curtiss,

how about riding pemberton trail in the mcdowell mtn park, saturday 2/24?
pemberton is relatively flat and a lot of fun.
it's a 15 mile loop which i prefer to ride ccw.

    is it a go?
    any others?

hi steve, long time no see. how about saturday 17th, t-100 from 7th street? PM me if interested as not to hijack this thread.

texas scarlett: sorry no can connect this time; weekends are best bet for "easier" rides. usually the hard cores do late weekday rides.
