    Great ride this a.m.

What a stellar ride this morning. Depending on what recommend GPS you use, I rode between 6 and 12 miles, 600 to 1200 feet of elevation gain, and the temps were between 79 and 92. My brand new Kenda UST tire held up well, despite mounting it backwards. Oh and how awesome was it to pass a Lycra-wearing XCer up T100 on my 40-lb AM/FR/DH root beer-colored Kona Coiler (who cares if she was riding a Huffy, I still passed her)?

    Feel free to discuss.

    Thanks!

I hit Pemberton at 6:45 this morning and it was a bit soggy going up the fire road. Once you make the left turn at the end of it, all was fine. By lap # 2 the gnats woke up, and I was covered with them. I did find it odd that on my drive there, I saw 2 dead javalena and a dead skunk. The 1st Javalina and skunk were at Pinnacle Peak Rd & 80th street, where a wash seemed to have crossed the road last night. They were laying in the debris on the side of the road.

THe second Javalina was right after I turned from Rio Verde Drive on to Forest Rd, this guy was laying in debris from a wash that ran hard and crossed Forest Rd. I have never seen this type of carnage before after a rain storm. I did verify it was a skunk as I had the window's down as I passed it. Did not know we have skunks here?

This is almost as odd as passing a lycra wearing xc rider on a huffy!

I assume you stopped and gave the skunk a proper burial?

I planned on doing that on the way home...... but oddly enough the skunk and javalina at that location had been removed by someone with more compassion than I. Definitely next time............

Would you please provide a product review running in forward and reverse rotations. Please list current pressure and what effect 1 psi charge made during said test. Please record both ascent and decent speeds for comparison.

I thought "held up well" was a product review. I'm confused.

    PSI was 33 when I started, but 21 when I finished .

Did you ride backwards some? If that was the case thanks for the review.
