    Gold Canyon ride: Sunday 8/26

    Meeting at the Peralta Elementary School @ 6 am tomorrow for anyone interested. Take US60 east through Gold Canyon to Peralta Rd., school is on the right.

    Don't really have one, but I'm sure we'll hit all the goodies. There's plenty of bail-out options if needed. I'm thinking we'll only be out for a few hours. If you've never been out, it's a fun place. Trail report from a local out there said they were in good shape after the storms.

    I rode all of the K Trail stuff last summer, never ridden though down around Peralta. I was looking to ride early tomorrow, so I just may be able to make it out.

    Good meeting you Dave, I'm we'll ride again. Here's today's route, not quite your typical Gold Canyon trek. Started & ended with a few miles of flat fast singletrack, mixed in the new Holy Hill bypass as well.

    Nice pic, my wife hollered at me, LOL. Looks like about 45 degrees, felt steeper. That whole Scorpion Rock roll required a bit of focus, but it was definitely fun.
