    Flagstaff Trail Damage???

I've been out of town for a week and came home to hear about flooding on Elden. Is this true, are trails closed....

Browse down a page and you'll find a few threads about it.

It's a shame, the trails were so perfect just before that.

Truth! I can't remember the last time it has been this wet up there.

That's because it hasn't ever been this wet before. Interesting read here:

Cool read rockman. I bet the peaks and Elden got a lot more than the recorded 7.57, there was even running water up there yesterday in places! It's so good I can't even explain it, just get out there and get some people, the traction is ridiculous.

I rode Schultz, Brookbank, AZ trail, Chimney Springs/Moto and Easter Island today. Schultz and Brookbank are in great shape. The section of the AZ trail near Schultz Pass has standing water and mud -- while the sections farther west are well drained. Easter Island has running water on much of the trail.

Attached is the 30-day rainfall from the City of Flagstaff rain gauge network.

Amazing amount of water. I've only witnessed Easter Island flowing as a creek after a decent winter. Never in the summer.
