Flagstaff dirt powder day tomorrow! (or maybe even tonight)

It is raining and hailing like a mofo near the Y. The goods will be had tomorrow.

Did you all see any moisture yesterday? As I drove back down the hill I hit some nice rain just past the overlook/brake check. Actually exited at Stoneman so I could stand in the rain for the first time in almost 6 months!

I'd say 1/2" so far. The ground has soaked it right up.

That was an amazingly powerful cell. It absolutely destroyed my rather large vegetable garden. Catastrophic loss. The trails will be amazing tonight and tomorrow though. Get it while the getting is good!

I am sorry for your loss. Nice rain now in Sedona. Enjoy the trails.

I heard Elden sat in a donut hole and barely saw any moisture. I was out at Mountainair today working and we got slammed.

That is correct. East side of Schultz was dry. Rode Schultz/Gnarly/Upper B Bank/Sunset all moon dust this morning. However west Secret/Lower Moto/Mid Earth was super deluxe!

We rode Schultz to Sunset TH then over to AZ Trail, down Moto and Easter Island. The parking lot had a fair bit of rain and the ground was damp to a depth of a few inches. At Sunset TH, there was a spattering of drops but mostly still moon dust.

Radar storm totals from yesterday showed the peaks got only a little -- or none -- while the heaviest fell in town and south of I-40. Fire danger remains extreme on the peaks.
