First week of March? Riding options?

Planning a trip down for spring break as I've heard how great riding is in Arizona, and it is nice to see and feel some sun after a long Alaska winter. Are the highlight riding destinations in az rideable at this time? Recommendations on where to ride. We will have a week. Really like rides that justify riding 5.5 inch travel enduro type bike. We don't mind riding up to get to fun stuff. Thanks. -15 at my house tonight, and daydreaming of dusty warm trails today.

So much to do. Where will you be staying? Is camping out of the question? I had friends come from CT this year at that same time. We did Black Canyon City trail from Rock Springs trailhead south to lollipop loop on day 1. Good warm up ride. Great views. Great single track.
Day 2, camped in Sedona. Manzanita camp ground. Went to Bike n Bean, got directions to Hangover trail. Did that. Fun. Beers followed. I highly recommend Oak Creek Brewery in Sedona.
Day 3 was from Bike n Bean again. Nice loops right from that place. High line, slim shady, etc. Tons. Just ask the shop.
Day 4 we did shuttle runs down Mingus mountain, between Sedona and Prescott. Really fun. Then went to the Dells in Prescott. We just hiked there though. Back down to my house in Phoenix.
Day 5, tons of stuff in Phoenix. South mountain is great. We went to the White Tanks, as that is where my house is.
That was a blast for us. Many other rides that are great I'm sure, just depends on where you are staying, really. For what it's worth, we are all on 6" bikes, and all the trails mentioned, except black canyon, you get to use the travel.

Cool. Good to hear there is open dusty riding there. I'll start planning on it. Thanks. I'll post once we get there if anyone feels like showing us the goods.
