    Deems Trail Maintenance

I rode Deems late yesterday afternoon and someone has been grooming the trail. Is this done by the city? Or does anyone know if any MTBers went out there. It looked like someone raked all the loose dirt gravel off of it.

Yes, we were out last Friday working on the trails, the work is done by volunteer Park Stewards managed by the City of Phoenix Park Rangers, more to come.

Interesting. I did not think Basalt needed any work done.

There are a couple of spots that need work, last Friday was preventative maintenance (training) and getting rid of some spider trails, we will be working up there every week .

Yeah, me too. I get 2 days a year for volunteer time, and I have not used mine yet for this year... Might as well use them working on the trails!
