Crud in the air

My cardio has been suffering the last couple weeks. Lungs just have not been up to par. I blamed in on the massive amount of yellow pollen dropping from the palo verde trees in my area (parking lots are deep enough to leave tire tracks in some areas) ... it will go away soon enough.

But.. as I sat on top of the Taliesin overlook this morning I was glad I live outside the loop and can work from home. The brown inversion layer hanging over the valley was thick !!!

Was up on Sunrise Peak today and thought the same thing. It's a nice brown blanket that I contribute little to by working from home too.

I know your talking about pollen but if your driving that rig up to powell can you really complain about air quality. And can you pick me up from flag on the way up?

I died (well almost) riding up Sunrise trail two weekends ago. Had some serious breathing/fatigue problems at the half way point. Kinda freaked out.

But was fine this weekend riding in Prescott. Hope I can blame it on the pollen/pollution.

My wife just got back from running on SOMO and commented on the nasty brown cloud over the valley.

Might be hiding indoors today!

Exactly! hope we get a good burst, and some downpours tomorrow. Give things a good scrubbing, including the trails.

I'm planning to ride on Friday, and Sunday. Fingers crossed we get a little of the wet stuff.

That's why I love the Tuke! Go to the top of Somo and check the air quality on the north side vs the south. Hope the freeway never goes through.
